I have been interested in wildlife from an early age, but started serious wildlife
watching in the 1970’s decade.
Later my interest in observing and listing nature subjects developed into a decision
to engage in nature photography as well, and in the 1990’s I bought my first basic
camera to record my sightings on film.
In 2002 when I retired from work it gave me much more time to get out looking for
subjects and to travel further afield.
I capitalised on this by upgrading my photo kit to digital professional standard
The quality and quantity of my pictures has increased greatly since then. Many have
been published in magazines, and I have created several projected presentations on
varied subject matter taken all over the world which are much appreciated by local
groups around South Yorkshire where I live.
All of this gives me personal satisfaction and pleasure, and keeps me motivated to
do even better in future!
